Abstract

In an ever-changing and digitalised business era, strategic human resource (HR) management is key to maintaining a company's competitive advantage. this article discusses the importance of talent management in the context of business digital transformation. With the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, business digitalisation is a necessity that has an impact on HR management. Companies are required to have human resources with appropriate talents, especially in mastering digital technology. Talent management is a necessary method in finding managing, developing and retaining talented employees who support the vision and mission of the organisation in the long term. Digital talent, which includes adaptability, collaboration, and technological understanding, is the main focus in the era of business digitalisation. In this context, this article provides an understanding of the important role of talent management in supporting a company's ability to compete in the digital era.
